Rise of the Golden Moon ✨

Opening September 6th at Parrott Gallery

Among the works I’m most excited to share at my upcoming solo show is a painted deer skull, a piece that carries both reverence and renewal. The deer, a being of gentleness and instinct, has long held a sacred place in Indigenous teachings, reminding us of balance, respect, and the cycles of life.

This skull, carefully painted, becomes more than bone it becomes story. Its surface is transformed with colour, light, and meaning, rising into something timeless, much like the golden moon that guides us through the night. It speaks to the beauty of honoring what has passed, while celebrating the continuation of spirit and energy in new forms.

I invite you to see it in person, alongside a collection of paintings and drums, at Rise of the Golden Moon. This exhibition is a celebration of resilience, transformation, and the interconnectedness of all living things.
