Ontario Trails Council Logo

Pretty exciting to see this today! 🧡

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Ontario Trails Council to create an Indigenous interpretation of their logo in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30.

Working together, we developed a design that brings together the land and water, with the orange hands representing Every Child Matters, while also acknowledging the original peoples of this land and their longstanding role as stewards of the land and water.

I’m very happy to see the finished design now being shared, and especially to see it featured as Ontario Trails Council’s cover image.

Thank you to Patrick and Ontario Trails Council for inviting me to be part of this project and for making space for Indigenous perspective within their recognition of this important day.
