In 2024, Prince Edward County's ______ invited me to participate in commemorating a part of Canadian history.

This was quite a large installation, as you can see from the photo of the mural across the side of a building.

A couple of images felt important to me.

~ The Lighthouse

~ The changing colour of the beam of light as it directs attention across the piece

~ The combined outline of jet, triangle, and maple leaf, all together symbolically

~ The water and moving shapes of green and blue

For more information about the Arrow Trail in Prince Edward County, read this detailed article from Quinte News and Alan-Michael Steele.

What comes to mind for you when you see these things, or think about the role of the Avro Arrow in Canadian Aviation and History?
