Thank you to the Indigenous Voices Fund

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Indigenous Voices Fund for the generous grant that helped bring my vision to life. With their support, I was able to create a collection of beautifully painted, handmade drums, each one a reflection of culture, tradition, and artistic expression.

I am also deeply grateful to Prince Edward County Arts, whose ongoing commitment to uplifting Indigenous artists has played a vital role in nurturing creativity across many forms of art. Their belief in my work and in the importance of Indigenous stories and voices is truly appreciated.

Creating these drums has been both a personal and artistic journey, and I could not have done it without the support of these incredible organizations. Thank you for empowering Indigenous artists to continue sharing our stories through our craft.

These drums will be part of the rise of the golden moon series showing at the parrot gallery in Belleville during the month of September. Please join us as we open the show on September 6 at 2 PM in gallery one.
